What’s more special is this is the first special exemption since Ryo Ishikawa received it in 2013 by the major championship.
Ernie Els will be making his 24th appearance at the Masters in April where Rory McIlroy is said to be the fans favorite to win it. His history at the event has been pretty solid where he has finished for two runner-ups and six top-10s.
