Golf Channel extends coverage by three hours
The comeback of Tiger is long-awaited worldwide and everyone is excited about, as Woods makes a comeback at the Hero World Challenge, scheduled from Nov 30th to Dec 2nd, 2017 at the Bahamas. Looking at the response Golf Channel has decided to extend the coverage by an hour for first two rounds and three to four hours for Thursday and Friday.

Golf Channel is looking to add an extra hour of live tournament coverage for the first and second rounds, in addition to Morning Drive 8.30-11.30 a.m. ET and Golf Central 60 minutes before and after rounds 1 and 2, and for the weekends, longer than their usual time.

Tiger Woods announced his comeback on Oct 30th with a tweet thanking committee of one for selecting him and Daniel Berger. “I am excited to return to competitive golf at the Hero World Challenge,” Woods said. “Albany is the perfect setting and it will be great to join this outstanding field. I want to thank Pawan Munjal and Hero MotoCorp for their continued support of this tournament and my foundation. I would also like to thank the fans for their unwavering support during my injury.”

Woods a five-time winner at the event is surely excited too and has been posting his improvement videos on Instagram and loved by his fans all over the world and were hoping for his comeback and this just puts them in awe of the man a generation has adored.
Apparently, last year’s Hero World Challenge was his comeback too which was short-lived when he withdrew from Dubai Desert Classic in February when he reported back pain and later had to undergo fourth fusion surgery on the back.
