Titleist unveils 818H1, and 818H2 Hybrids
Titleist unveils latest hybrids to add up to their armor, 818 H1 and 818 H2 namely at TPC Deere Run, where John Deere Classic was scheduled.
Titleist who had to reschedule the hybrid launch cycle to match up the iron launch after noticing a lot of players shifting to use hybrids instead of long irons and some even carrying multiple hybrids for an increased level of performance.
The 818 Hybrids feature a changeable cartridge in the sole, which is almost similar to Titleist’s previous SureFit CG Technology, which is featured on Titleist 917 Drivers and 917 Fairway Woods.
The technology in talk helps golfers to get precise launch characteristics to maximise distance and also create a specific shot shape. What’s even better is the availability of adjustable hosel, which gives one independence to adjust loft and lie angle, and an Active Recoil Channel behind the face to increase ball speed by allowing the face to flex and spring more powerfully.
With the launch of these hybrids, Titleist which has been undisputed Number 1 Iron choice on the PGA Tour is looking forward to encashing some advantage to its Hybrids market too.
