PGA Tour May 2018 Schedule
PGA Tour concluded its March line-up of tournaments with the exciting win of the team consisting Billy Horschel and Scott Piercy at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans on Sunday.
The Masters saw Patrick Reed take his first green jacket, where it tight among Rickie Fowler, Jordan Spieth, and Rory McIlroy. PGA Tour’s May 2018 schedule starts with the Wells Fargo Championship, where Tiger Woods will be making his appearance after a three years gap and will end at the Memorial Tournament starting on May 31, 2018.

Wells Fargo Championship
Wells Fargo Championship is a professional golf tournament on the PGA Tour played at the Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte. It debuted in 2003 as the Wachovia Championship and was renamed as the Quail Hollow Championship in 2009 and 2010.
The event moved to Eagle Point Golf Club in 2017 to Wilmington, North Carolina and will be returning to Quail Hollow Club on May 2, 2018.
Brian Harman won the 2017 edition with a stroke over Dustin Johnson and Pat Perez and earned $1,350,000 out of the purse set at $7,500,000.
The PLAYERS Championship
The Players Championship is an annual tournament on the PGA Tour originally known as the Tournament Players Championship and began in 1974. The event used to be giving the highest prize fund of any tournament in golf ($10.5 million in 2015) until it was taken over in 2017 by the U.S. Open, which offered a $12 million purse.
The event is staged at the TPC Sawgrass, located at the Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida and the winner gets a whopping $1.89 million (18%) highest of the largest purse of any tournament in golf and receives 80 points towards his world rankings, the largest share aside from the majors, for which winners earn 100 points. For comparison, the winners of the four individual World Golf Championships generally receive between 70 and 78 points.

AT&T Byron Nelson
AT&T Byron Nelson is a professional golf tournament in Texas on the PGA Tour. The tournament is the leading fundraiser for charity on the PGA Tour and has raised over $143 million. The event was started in 1944 and this time it will be moving to Trinity Forest Golf Club, southeast of downtown Dallas, with a prize fund of $7.5 million.
Billy Horschel will be defending his title after his recent win at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans, just last Sunday.
Horschel defeated Jason Day in a playoff to win it in 2017.
Fort Worth Invitational
Fort Worth Invitational is played annually in May in Fort Worth, Texas at Colonial Country Club. It is one of the five invitational tournaments on the PGA Tour, the inaugural event was held in 1946.
The event currently lacks any sponsor and will be sponsored by Charles Schwab beginning in 2019. Kevin Kisner won it with a stroke over Sean O’ Hair, Jon Rahm, and Jordan Spieth in 2017 when it was called as Dean & Deluca Invitational.
The tournament is scheduled at the Colonial Country Club from May 24 – May 27, 2018.
the Memorial Tournament presented by Nationwide
The Memorial Tournament is a professional golf tournament, founded in 1976 by Jack Nicklaus. It is played on a Nicklaus designed course at Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin, Ohio, apar-72 course and a prize fund of $8.7 million.
In 2017, the event was won by Jason Dufner with three-strokes over Anirban Lahiri and Rickie Fowler and is scheduled from May 31 – June 3, 2018, for this year.
