PGA Tour Schedule for March
February month saw a lot of exciting events with tournaments like Waste Management Phoenix Open where Gary Woodland won in a playoff against Chez Reavie, surpassing Rickie Fowler who had a 54-hole lead entering the final round, followed by AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am won by Ted Potter Jr., Genesis Open was the event where Bubba Watson made history after winning it for the third time and joined greats like Ben Hogan and Lloyd Mangrum, and the final event The Honda Classic came to an end with Tiger Woods finishing at 12th and Justin Thomas clinching it in style after a one-hole playoff against Luke List.

World Golf Championships – Mexico Championships
The WGC – Mexico Championship is a professional golf tournament, one of the four annual World Golf Championships. Established in 1999 it was known as the WGC-American Express Championship till 2006, and from 2007 to 2010 it was known as the WGC-CA Championship. The event is co-sanctioned by the European Tour and the PGA Tour.
The tournament will be played from Mar. 1 – Mar.4, 2018 in Naucalpan, Mexico at Club de Golf Chapultepec with a prize fund of US$10,000,000 and Dustin Johnson as the defending champion from 2017 who won by a stroke over Tommy Fleetwood.
Puerto Rico Open Charity Day
Puerto Rico Open Charity Day is a replacement of Puerto Rico Open for the recent damages caused by Hurricane Maria and the charity hopes to raise $500,000 with this at the TPC Dorado Beach from Mar.2 – Mar. 3, 2018.
Valspar Championship is a professional men’s golf tournament established in 2000 and played annually at Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club in Palm Harbor, Florida.
In Sep. 2013, Valspar Corporation signed a four-year deal to become the title sponsor of the event, and on March 9, 2016, the PGA Tour, Valspar Corporation, and Copperhead Charities – the Valspar Championship host organization announced a three-year title sponsorship extension, thus making Valspar its sponsor till 2020.
Only two players have multiple wins in the event: K.J. Choi (2002, 2006), Retief Goosen (2003, 2009).
Canadian Adam Hadwin will be entering the 2018 edition as the defending champion after defeating Patrick Cantlay by a stroke in 2017, starting on Mar. 8, 2018.
Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard
The Arnold Palmer Invitational is a professional golf tournament played annually at the Bay Hill Club and Lodge, a private golf resort owned since 1974 by Arnold Palmer in Bay Hill.
The event debuted in 1966 and has been played under different names, but played under Palmer name since 2007.
Tiger Woods won four years in a row at Bay Hill, from 2000 to 2003, one of only four occasions that an event was won four consecutive times on the PGA Tour.
The Arnold Palmer Invitational is one of the five tournaments given invitational status by the PGA Tour, and it has a reduced field of only 120 players.
Marc Leishman is the defending champion at the 2018 event which he won by a stroke over Charley Hoffman and Kevin Kisner in 2017.
World Golf Championships – Dell Technologies Match Play
The 2018 WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play will be the 20th WGC Match Play, to be played March 21-25 at Austin Country Club in Austin, Texas. It will be the second of four World Golf Championships in 2018.
The field consists of the top 64 golfers from the OWGR on March 11. The event will be played from Mar.21 – Mar. 25, 2018 with Dustin Johnson as the defending champion.
Corales Puntacana Resort and Club Championship
The Corales Puntacana Resort and Club Championship is a golf tournament in the Dominican Republic on the PGA Tour, formerly on the Web.com Tour. It was first played in 2016 at the Corales Golf Club in Punta Cana.
Dominic Bozzelli and Nate Lashley won the event in 2016 and 2017 as a Web.com Tour event and graduated to PGA Tour subsequently.
The event will be played as a PGA Tour event for the first time from Mar. 22 – Mar. 25, 2018.
The Houston Open is a professional golf tournament in Texas on the PGA Tour. It is held at the Golf Club of Houston. The event was first played in 1946 at River Oaks Country Club before moving to Memorial Park Golf Course in 1947, after moving to several places it reached its current location in 2003 when the facility was known as Redstone Golf Club until 2013.
The event will be played from Mar. 29 – Apr. 1, 2018 with Russell Henley as the defending champion.
