Tiger Woods commits to play in The National
Tiger Woods announced today that he will play in the 2018 National to be held from June 25-July 1, 2018 at TPC Potomac.
“I am really looking forward to being back in the D.C. area this summer playing in The National,” Woods said. “As a two-time champion of this event benefiting my foundation, The National has always been a special event for me.”
Woods returned to professional golf arena in Dec. 2017 at the Hero World Challenge where he finished T-9th with The Open’s runner-up Matt Kuchar.

Woods has been a two-time winner at The National (2009 and 2012) and has competed here last in 2015. The National will return to TPC Potomac for the second time in the tournament’s history. Last year Kyle Stanley defeated Charles Howell III in a one-hole playoff.
The National invites 120 of the top PGA Tour to compete for their share of a $7.1 million purse and tickets are live on NationalGolfTournament.com, starting at just $15.
The event is operated by TGR Live, The National raises funds and awareness for TGR Foundation while paying tribute to US armed forces.
