Tiger Woods once again has announced that he will return, to the professional golfing world. Yesterday on his blog he posted that he had back surgery and he is going to pursue golf again.
Woods who now ranks at 860 on the Official World Golfing, due to his absence from golf since this year’s Farmers Insurance Open, where he failed to make the cut and a whole 2016 where he did not make his presence on the field due to other surgeries.
Tiger Woods as we know him is the king of the comebacks, yes there I said it, he is the one who keeps up his best and gives his best at any event he commits to, but his comebacks are getting too many and that’s making the fans impatient now.
There was a time that any PGA event revolved around the Tiger itself, he was the master of shooting unimaginable shots and the most famous and undoubtedly is his shot at the 2002 PGA Championship at Hazeltine National, where he was lying on the bunker of par-4 18th with a tree in front of it and he picks up a 3-iron for this kind of shot and hits it over the tree and onto the green and how can you even explain this to anyone that it has happened, until you have seen it.
Tiger Woods missed this year’s Masters Tournament too, where he has won four times, because of his inability to play. He is positive that his surgery is successful and he has to rest for two or three months more before he can start swinging again.
These were his words on his blog “It was instant nerve relief. I haven’t felt this good in years … I want to say unequivocally, I want to play professional golf again”.
