Like it or not, Tiger Woods finds a way to be in the NEWS, for good or bad, earlier on arrest due for DUI later he did state that he is not feeling well and he is undergoing medication which might have caused the body to react in this manner.
Legends like Jack Nicklaus came out to his support, saying Tiger needs us more than anytime ever, and needs our help. Results of his medication started showing positive response on his body. He has recovered a lot from his situaton and speculations on his return are stronger than ever, and what made it more obvious was his clicks from gym and his road stroll in Miami with his kids. Tiger who had recently pleaded not guilty on DUI charges just a week back, is again in headline after the reports stating presence of five different drugs in his system at the time of arrest. A urine test has revealed presence of strong pain killers, sleep and anxiety drugs and THC, which is a chemical component of marijuana.
Woods, who is recovering from a fourth back operation, is going to get a lesser charge of reckless driving after a 12-month probation programme.
“As I previously said, I received professional help to manage my medications,” said Woods on Monday.
“Recently, I had been trying on my own to treat my back pain and a sleep disorder, including insomnia, but I realise now it was a mistake to do this without medical assistance.”
He denied alcohol was involved and said it was down to “an unexpected reaction to prescribed medication”.
The toxicology results, made public by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, showed the presence of:
- Hydrocodone (Vicodin)
- Hydromorphone (Dilaudid)
- Alprazolam (Xanax)
- Zolpidem (Ambien)
- Delta-9 carboxy THC
Woods who is winless since 2013, and his major drought has been since 2008.
